Suggested count is finished items, 2% of daily sales. A recipe that yields 5 is five items, not five crafts. Ingredients come from the sell listing unless crafting one is cheaper.

How the numbers are made
  • Prices and daily volume are live from DataWars2. Upgrade slots on exotic gear come from the official item API.
  • Selling loses 15%. Listing revenue uses the lower of the current ask and the 7-day average ask.
  • Selling loses 15% either way. An instant sale into a buy order and a posted listing both pay the 5% listing fee and the 10% exchange fee.
  • A flip bought from the sell listing is sold straight into the buy listing and keeps 85%. Bought from the buy listing, it is posted on the sell listing and also keeps 85%.
  • Suggested quantity is the market-share percent of daily sales, in finished items. The slider runs from 1% to 150% and starts at 2%. A recipe that yields more than one item is scaled so the shopping list matches that many items, not that many crafts.
  • The Bought field is how many finished items land in today’s book. It starts at the suggestion. Change it before or after you check the row. A later change does not rewrite the buy list.
  • Add to buy list uses the Bought count at that moment. If an ingredient is cheaper to craft than to buy, the list tells you to craft it and adds that recipe’s materials instead.
  • Extract pulls the upgrade with a permanent extractor, then uses a Silver-Fed Salvage-o-Matic at 60 copper. These rows are exotic shells. Profit uses 1.27 ectoplasm, the Silver-Fed average on exotic gear. A rare with the same kit expects 0.88, and Copper-Fed or Runecrafter’s expect 0.50 on a rare. Silver-Fed also adds a 25% rare material, matched to the piece: orichalcum ore, ancient wood, gossamer scrap, or thick leather. Luck and the common materials are not in the profit.
  • Food can be listed even when it cannot be sold to a merchant. Chef recipes are included. Lemons, cheese, rice, and the other account-bound cooking ingredients come from karma vendors (35 to 203 karma for 25) and are not part of the gold cost. A dish that spends karma shows the copper earned per karma. Flour, water, sugar, salt, oil, vinegar, starch, and baking powder use the chef vendor price when it is cheaper than the trading post. A loaf of bread is 40 copper. Living World ingredients such as winterberries are marked with an asterisk and can be hidden.
  • Clay Pot, Heat Stone, the plant foods, and the other once-a-day recipes are suggested as a single craft. Recipes that spend Lump of Mithrillium, Elder Spirit Residue, Silk Weaving Thread, Thick Elonian Cord, or Charged Quartz can still be sized to the market, and can be hidden.
  • Legendary outputs are skipped. When an ingredient is at least 25 copper cheaper to craft — or it is not sold — the profit assumes you craft it, and the buy list swaps in that recipe. A recipe is kept when every part can be bought or crafted.
